An Invitation to Adventure!
"Most messages for men ultimately fail.  The reason is simple:  They ignore what is deep and true to a man's heart, his real passions and simply try to shape him up through various forms of pressure."   -John Eldredge, Wild At Heart

1.    Where We Find Ourselves
"The tragedy of life is what dies inside a man while he lives."  -Albert Schweitzer
 Men find themselves:
Bored :   "After years of living in a cage, a lion no longer even believes it is a lion....and a man no longer believes he is a man." -Eldredge
Insecure:   "Every man feels that the world is asking him to be something he doubts very much he has it in him to be." - Eldredge
Frightened: "I was afraid, because I was naked...so I hid."  -Adam
Fragile: "If a man does not find those things for which his heart is made, if he is never even invited to live for them from his deep heart, he will look for them in some other way."  -Eldredge
2.    Where Our Home Is!
God has put three things in the heart of man:
  Risk:   An Adventure to live!
The heroes of the Bible (Godly men, all, right?) lived tremendous adventures.
  Revolution:   A Battle to fight!
"How would telling people to be nice to one another get a man crucified?"   -Philip Yancey
  Romance:   A Beauty to win!
"Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken.  If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal."   -CS Lewis
3.  Getting from A to B:  Passionate Living
Passion is the raw fuel that God has filled you with in order to accomplish greatness!
